Megha Menon
Megha, a cybersecurity professional with a strong foundation in system administration and security operations analysis, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s in Cybersecurity from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. With expertise in intrusion detection, security hardening, vulnerability assessments, and incident response, Megha is recognized for her proactive and results-driven approach in the field. Beyond her technical prowess, she actively contributes to the cybersecurity community as a Conference Volunteer and serves as the Treasurer of Women in Cybersecurity-UNCC, showcasing her commitment to knowledge sharing and community outreach.

Simeon Hicks
Simeon Hicks is a proud native of Virginia and a jack-of-all-trades. He is an alumnus of Virginia Union University where he obtained his undergraduate degree in biology. He has spent time as a Physical Therapy Technician, Laboratory Technician, and Administrative Technician. Working as an Administrative technician has fostered his love for technology and has allowed his curiosity to grow. Currently, Simeon attends Webster University as a master’s student, working to achieve a degree in Cybersecurity Operation. His primary goal is to transition to a career in Information Technology and use his knowledge and skills to assist those attempting to make similar career changes. Mr. Hicks is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, a Black Greek Letter Organization who’s aims are Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind.
In Simeon’s free time, he enjoys going on walks, learning, reading, solving puzzles, spending time with friends and family, and roller skating.

Shivani Shetty
​Shivani Shetty, a multifaceted cybersecurity professional and community builder based in Jersey City, New Jersey, brings a wealth of expertise. Armed with a master's degree in Cybersecurity from Stevens Institute of Technology and a solid Computer Science and Engineering foundation, Shivani adeptly maneuvers through the dynamic realms of cybersecurity and community management. Her hands-on experience at Nearshore Cyber USA LLC showcases her proficiency in monitoring network and system logs, implementing robust security measures, and conducting training sessions on essential SIEM tools like Splunk, Nessus, and Wireshark. Beyond cybersecurity, Shivani's role as a Discord Community Manager at Gold Star Gamers underscores her talent in curating positive online spaces, enforcing community guidelines, and fostering engagement among members. Additionally, her tenure as a Full Stack Developer at Capillary Technology India highlights her ability to seamlessly integrate security features into applications for esteemed clients like Pizza Hut, KFC, and Herfy. Committed to continuous learning, Shivani actively pursues certifications like CompTIA SECURITY+ and Google Cybersecurity, ensuring she stays at the forefront of evolving technologies.

Jamal Love
Jamal Love is from Maryland and currently attends Boston University’s full time MBA program with a focus on Strategy and Social Impact. Prior to attending his MBA program Jamal has worked for Oracle and Wayfair in Boston, MA specifically having his hands in business development, supplier operations, and supplier diversity initiatives.He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from Morehouse College and was a collegiate athlete during his tenure at Morehouse.
While at Boston University Jamal has been involved in several clubs. Most notably he served as the President of the Graduate Students of the African Diaspora which is an organization that fosters community among students that identify as part of the African Diaspora within the MBA program.
At every institution Jamal has been a part of tapping into communities of color which is an important aspect to his experience. Immediately after graduation Jamal will be working full time as a Senior Consultant for Deloitte in Boston. Long term he hopes to eventually open up an Art Gallery that promotes the work of emerging Black artists. Black art has been a part of his life ever since a young kid and wants to create a platform to support the next wave of talent. In his spare time Jamal enjoys photography, music, true crime podcasts, traveling, and mentorship.
